No evidence

Cosplaying as a Democrat.

There is no evidence Ceasar Ruiz is a Democrat except that he walked into a Democratic club meeting in June 2026 and said he was one. He was campaigning for Republicans in 2024. He never voted in a Democratic primary until the 2026 runoff. He needs the Democratic endorsement to win in Pflugerville.

His only evidence
“I'm an American, a veteran, and a Texan, and I am proud to call myself a Democrat.”

That is the whole case. He said it at a Pflugerville Area Democrats meeting in June 2026. There is no other evidence that he is a Democrat.

Everything else on the record says Republican.

He is not a Democrat. He needs the Democratic endorsement to win.

Pflugerville votes overwhelmingly Democratic. He was campaigning for Republicans in 2024 and never voted in a Democratic primary until the 2026 runoff. Then his name went on the ballot and he started saying he was a Democrat.
